Welcome to the Residence

The Residence is the sympathetic restoration of the Château Royal, in Docteur Grappein street, in the town-centre, just near the church. The building, whose original tower dates back to the eleventh century, is a listed national monument because of its historical importance.

Over the centuries the Residence has been a bishop’s palace, then home residence of the King Vittorio Emanuele II when hunting in the old hunting reserve, now Gran Paradiso National Park. At the beginning of the 19th century it became an hotel, one of the first and most prestigious in Cogne.

The Residence is composed by:

1 three-room superior flat (up to 7 people)
7 two rooms flat (including 3 superiors, up to 6 people)
5 studios (for 2-3 people)

We propose a bar for the breakfast, laundry with washing machine and iron and a small fitness centre with sauna and jacuzzi with free access. All our flats have free Wi-Fi internet access. Possibility of a covered parking nearby. Free parking is 100 meters away.

Included in the price

The prices include towels and bath towels (with a change midweek), heating, electricity, final cleaning (except for the kitchen which will have to be cleaned and in order).

For reservations of at least one week in low season we will offer you a meal at the restaurant La Barme in Valnontey (which propose meals at negotiated prices).
